The fintech sector alone grows at 25 percent annually, with the Central Bank's regulatory sandbox attracting $90 million in investments and propelling Armenia to 34th place in the Global Fintech Index.

Success stories continue multiplying beyond established unicorn Picsart. BostonGene operates its AI-powered cancer treatment research facility from Yerevan.

The World Congress on Innovation and Technology, hosted in Yerevan, featured executives from Moderna and Nvidia, highlighting Armenia's growing prominence in global tech circles. The country achieved 59th place in the 2025 Global Innovation Index, improving four positions from the previous year.

Over 200 fintech companies now operate in Armenia, focusing on payments, lending, insurtech, and wealth management. Government policies supporting the sector include streamlined business registration, competitive tax rates, and strong intellectual property protections.
