SAP Unveils AI-Powered Supply Chain Orchestration Platform

SAP has announced SAP Supply Chain Orchestration, a new AI-centric solution designed to revolutionize how companies manage supply chain disruptions and complexity, unveiled at the Supply Chain Connect event at SAP Connect.

The platform leverages artificial intelligence to detect potential disruptions early, contextualize risk to each company's unique supply chain configuration, and trigger AI-driven actions across planning, logistics, procurement, and manufacturing operations.

'End to end, every segment of what we do is driven by some form of intelligence,' said Indira Uppuluri, SVP of supply chain technology at a major SAP client. The solution will soon feature powerful Joule AI assistants that strengthen supplier compliance, increase customer service, and reduce revenue exposure.

Built on SAP Business Technology Platform, the solution integrates data from SAP Business Network and SAP Business Data Cloud, providing comprehensive visibility across every tier of the supply chain. This multi-tier insight helps transform risk signals into prioritized actions.

Additionally, SAP is introducing SAP Logistics Management, a cloud-native solution for smaller, regional warehouses that complements large distribution centers. The platform will help establish multi-tier distribution networks that strengthen resilience and increase delivery speed.

The announcements come as companies globally face increasing supply chain complexity from tariffs, climate events, and demand volatility, making AI-powered orchestration critical for maintaining competitiveness.
